About the Green Beer Project
We are beer lovers who also love living on Planet Earth and want to preserve it for future generations.
Alex Parker
Alex founded the Green Beer Project after being trained as a Climate Reality leader by the Climate Reality Project. With Craft for Climate, he combines a love of craft beer with a desire to educate people about climate change and take meaningful action. Alex lives outside Chicago with his wife and son, and is a mediocre home brewer, despite brewing for more than seven years.

Adam Dickens
Adam founded Dickens Candles by drawing inspiration from coffee, beer and Saturday mornings. He set out to make a candle you can feel good about that was sustainable and handmade. The hand-poured candles feature upcycled bottles,100% renewable American grown soy wax and strong but not overpowering scents. Sustainability is built into every candle including shipping with reused packing paper, biodegradable packing peanuts and plant based tape. Adam is also a mediocre homebrewer, an above average beer drinker and sustainability advocate.
